Tree & Shrub Services

Small-scale tree work, hedge trimming, brush cleanup, and stump grinding for residential properties in Winchester & Frederick County.

Landscaping worker trimming hedges at a residential property in Winchester, VA

⚠️ Please Note: We handle small-scale residential tree work only — small ornamental trees, shrubs, hedges, and brush. We do not work on large mature trees, do not perform climbing/rigging removals, and do not offer arborist-level diagnostics. For large or hazardous tree work, we're happy to refer you to a certified arborist in the Winchester area.

✂️ Trimming, Pruning & Hedge Shaping

We keep your shrubs, hedges, and small ornamental trees looking clean and well-maintained. This includes:

  • Hedge trimming and shaping (boxwood, holly, privet, etc.)
  • Pruning small ornamental trees (crepe myrtles, dogwoods, redbuds, small maples)
  • Removing dead or crossing branches on shrubs and small trees
  • Shaping overgrown foundation plantings back into form
  • Cleanup of all trimmings and debris from the property

We work on trees and branches we can reach from the ground or a standard ladder — generally up to about 15 feet. Anything taller or structural needs a tree service company with proper climbing and rigging equipment.

🪓 Small Tree & Brush Removal

Need a small dead tree taken out, or an overgrown section of your yard cleared? We handle removal of:

  • Small trees (up to approximately 15 ft. tall / 6" trunk diameter)
  • Dead or dying ornamental trees
  • Volunteer saplings and invasive brush
  • Overgrown shrub masses that need to come out entirely
  • Brush piles and yard debris from storms

We cut, section, and haul everything away. We do not fell large trees, remove trees near power lines, or handle anything requiring crane or bucket truck work.

🪵 Stump Grinding & Removal

After a tree comes down, the stump is an eyesore and a tripping hazard. We grind stumps down below grade level so you can fill the area with topsoil, seed it, or mulch over it. We handle residential-scale stumps — typically up to about 18" in diameter. Grinding depth is generally 4-6 inches below grade.

Grindings are left on-site for you to use as fill, or we can haul them away for an additional charge.
